PRESENT Charles G. DeMirjyn, Chairman Carole Beswick, Vice Chairman William E. Cunningham, Member James D. Wheaton, Executive Director Daniel J. McHugh, Agency Attorney Beatrice Sanchez, Acting Agency Secretary Pamela Fitzsimmons, The Sun Steven Church, Redlands Daily Facts ABSENT Swen Larson, Member Dee Ann Milson, Member Minutes of the regular meeting of October 1, 1991, were approved as submitted. Public hearing was set for this time and place to consider a commercial lease of the Agency-owned building at 348 Orange Street to Pat Padget, The Carpet Cleaner. The Redevelopment Agency requested that the matter and public hearing be canceled. By consensus of Agency members present, the public hearing was closed and no further action will be taken on this matter. Easement In conjunction with the Santa Fe Depot Project undergrounding of the off-site Southern California Edison electrical transmission Santa Fe plant, Mrs. Beswick moved to approve a Grant of Easement to Depot Southern California Edison Company and that the appropriate officials of the Agency be authorized to execute such easement. Motion seconded by Mr. Cunningham and carried by AYE votes of all present. Project Home A temporary loan was requested in the amount of $30,000 by the Again Project Home Again Shelter staff until receipt of Community Development Block Grant moneys which will be secured by a loan document executed by Counsel. Agency staff and the Redevelopment Advisory Commission unanimously support the recommendation, however, at this time the Agency is requesting a 0144 continuance to the next meeting so that the CDBG Reprogramming of Funds public hearing scheduled for November 5, 1991, is not prejudiced. Ms. Amy Castle, speaking on behalf of Project Home Again, stated to Agency Members that a two week delay would not adversely affect the project. All Members concurred to continue this item to November 5, 1991. The Redevelopment Agency meeting recessed at 4:10 P.M. to a closed session for the purpose of discussing pending litigation. In accordance with State law, the Agency Attorney prepared a confidential memo providing justification for the pending litigation portion of the closed session.
