PRESENT Swen Larson, Chairman Jim Foster, Vice Chairman William E. Cunningham, Member Gilberto Gil, Member Pat Gilbreath, Member Gary M. Luebbers, Executive Director Daniel J. McHugh, Agency Attorney Lorrie Poyzer, Agency Secretary Ted Thomaidis, Redlands Daily Facts Steven Church, The Sun ABSENT None Minutes of the regular meeting of April 18, 1995, were approved as submitted. NEW BUSINESS Extension of Escrow - Mr. Cunningham moved to authorize a 30 day extension for the escrow in the names of Frederick Thornes and Gary Heroneme for property located at 346 and 348 Orange Street to allow additional time to obtain financing. Motion seconded by Mrs. Gilbreath and carried unanimously. Krikorian Premier Theaters - Executive Director Luebbers distributed a letter received via FAX from Inland Pacific Development Companies requesting consideration of a proposed Memorandum of Understanding granting Krikorian Premier Theatres, Inc. exclusive negotiating rights for the redevelopment of certain parcels located near Eureka Street, Shoppers Lane, and Redlands Boulevard for a term of 90 days, extendible by 45 days upon written election by Krikorian Premier Theaters, Inc. to the Redevelopment Agency. Noting that the need to take action was immediate, Mr. Gil moved to add this matter to the agenda which arose subsequent to the agenda being posted. Motion seconded by Mrs. Gilbreath and carried unanimously. Mr. Foster questioned why there was no deposit or price included in this document. Mr. Luebbers responded these items would be included in the negotiations. Mr. Cunningham indicated he would support this request but wanted to see some earnest money before consideration of any extension. Mr. Larson moved to approve the Memorandum of Understanding as amended by the Agency's legal counsel and authorized execution by Agency officials. Motion seconded by Mr. Gil and carried with Mr. Foster voting NO.
