PUBLIC HEARING - REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND CITY COUNCIL
Resolution No. 240 - Sale of Civic Center - A joint public hearing of the
Redevelopment Agency and the City Council of the City of Redlands was
advertised for this time and place to consider the conveyance of real property
located at 35 Cajon Street (formerly known as the Redlands Plaza, now known
as the Civic Center) to the City of Redlands. Administrative Services Director
Pettus reviewed the report on the Proposed Transfer of Real Property. Mr.
Foster felt it was inappropriate to give away this asset. Mr. Cunningham felt
this was the only prudent way to handle the Redevelopment Agency's debt to
the City. Chairman Larson declared the meeting open as a public hearing for
any questions or comments. None being forthcoming, the public hearing was
declared closed. Mrs. Gilbreath moved to adopt Resolution No. 240, a
resolution of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands approving and
authorizing the transfer of property known as the Civic Center from the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands to the City of Redlands.
