TITIONS Scott Harvey of the University of Redlands requested permission for the annual Pajama parade which is to be held on Friday, September 214 , 1965 between :30 and :30. permission was granted on motion of Councilman Hartzell,ell , seconded by Councilman Martinez , with the provi- sion r vision that time and route of the parade be checked with the Police Department. Street trade Mr. Barnett addressed the Council with the request that an increase in street grade be permitted for portions of two streets, both cul-de-sac; , within Tract 7085. Following lengthy discussion regarding access , turning, parking of service vehicles , and storm water run-off, the following motion of Councilman Hartzell was seconded .ley Councilman Cummings . p+ 1 . No. 244 - Amendment to Redlands Ordinance Code (Sians ) cf This resolution of the Planning Commission was tabled to this r from the Council meeting of May 18, 1965 . That R.P.C. 244 - a Redlands Ordinance Code - Section Administered by the Redlands Commission - be approved, On motion of Councilman Hartzell, s( by Counwilman Cummings , R.P.C. No. 244 was approved, and OrdinE 1292 , an ordinance of the City of Redlands , Amendment to Redlai Ordinance Code, was introduced, given first reading of the tit: laid over, with public hearing set for June 15, 1965. 9. lies neat - Revitalization Committee Mr. Robert E. Ayqyroval of CovaitX "Minor Subdivision Ordinance" On motion of Councilman Hartzell, seconded by Councilman Cmmii Resolution No. 2457, a resolution of the City Council, City of approving county "Minor Subdivision Ordinance " was presented am adopted. IADVISORY COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS I N 'y recommendation of the Advisory. Committee was adopted by -the City Council. 2 . That the request of Mrs . 11. F. Horton for permission .to sign the Im- provement Ordinance Agreement in lieu of curb, gutter and sidewalk as required in Lot Split No . 355 for property known as 134 Grove Street (tias request includes both parcels) be approved for the reason that installation at this time would cause a. drainage problem. On motion of Councilman Cummings , seconded by Councilman Hartzell , the reconimen-d dation of the Advisory Committee was adopted by the City Council. COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS At a regular meeting of the Traffic Commission tel on May 20, 1965, the following recoimnendations were submitted for Council, cons idera tion::,'. pursuant to Article 678, Section 678. 1 (A) and 678. 2 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance : A. To establish a loading zone on the south side of Redlands Boulevard from a point approximately 991 east of Fifth Street to a point approxi mately 1171 east of Fifth Street . B. To establish a, loading zone on the north side of Redlands Boulevard from a point approximately 177 ' west of Orange Street to a point approximately 2041 west of Orange Street . Pursuant to Article 676, Section. 676. 8 of the Redlands Traffic Ordin- ance : C. To establish a "Yield" sign on Pacific to require northbound and south bound. vehicles to yield right of way. Resolution No. 24511, a resolution establishing traffic regulations purred ion ion suant to Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance Code as above 454 recommended, presented aud adopted on motion of Councilman Wagner, seconded by Councilman Martinez . The following resolution comes to Council from the Department of Publil : Works following completion of traffic study. Pursuant to Article 680, Section 680. 2 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance : ion To establish a, 35 mile per hour spped zone on East Redlands 456 Boulevard east bound from East Fern Avenue to Ford Street . Resolution No. 2456, a resolution establishing traffic regulations pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance Code as above recom- mended, presented and adopted on rpotion of Councilman Wagner, seconded by COUncilman Martinez . COUTICilman Cummings cast an "Aye" vote Following discussion, Council approved the placement of one large stop,, sign at Ford Street and Redlands Boulevard to stop eastbound traffic h on Redlands Boulevard, on motion of Councilman Cummings, seconded by Councilman Martinez .
