Regular Meeting Waldo F. Burroughs , Mayor Norman N. Martinez , Councilman Robert J . Wagner, Councilman On motion of Councilman Martinez , seconded by Councilman Wagner, lution No . 2468, amending the Traffic Ordinance , as above recoma was adopted by the City Council . COMMUNICATIONS City Manager Merritt read a letter from Mr. Neil Pfulb, County P1 County Director, requesting permission to appear before the Council to Planning the goals of the County General Plan. Mr. Pfulb will be invited address Council during meeting of August 17, 1965. UNFINISHED BUSINESS At the Council meeting of July 6, 1965, the sanctioning of the u teacher-aides as crossing guards for Operation Head Start was gi Crossing the City Council, At this time a request from the school system Guards $ 100.00 to cover this cost Is received. On motion of Councilmar seconded by Councilman Martinez , this expenditure was approved t City Council . NEW BUSINESS Resolution No. 2466, a resolution of the City of Redlands , provi Resolution destruction schedule for certain records, adopted on motion of C No . 2466 man Cummings, seconded by Councilman Wagner. Resolution No . 2467, a resolution of the City of Redlands , adopt salary schedule for overtime pay purposes for uniformed police c Resolution adopted on motion of Councilman Cummings, seconded by Councilman No. 2467 This resolution brings off-duty police work under the City ' s coa tion insurance policy, with the additional cost being charged tc persons using the service. CITY MANAGER The Board of Parking Place Commissioners requests permission to into a lease with the Downtown Redlands Association for manageme Lease - the underground parking garage. On motion of Councilman Wagner, Underground Parking unded by Councilman Cummings approval of this lease was given by City Council. City Manager Merritt presented a request for the purchase of 12 Parking tional two-hour parking meters. Motion by Councilman Cummings : Meters move that request for $ 1 , 500. 00 for purchase of parking meters E approved and that same be financed from Parking Meter Fund cash Motion seconded by Councilman Martinez and carried. On motion of Councilman Wagner, seconded by Councilman Cummings, Quiet Claim City Attorney was authorized to initiate Quiet Claim action in a Theos Property to establish Mr. Al Theos ' title to property which the City has endeavoring to purchase for Municipal Airport expansion.
