Before Council consideration of the Planning Commission recom mendation on this permit , Mayor Burroughs introduced Mr. W. A Sidler of the County Flood Control District , who described th� studies being made by the District on the Zanja area 6nd the fiedlands Boulevard channel . Mr. Sidler believes the District will be able tu make a deter mination concerning the future Zanja channel within about two weeks ; he a1su offered to discuss informally with the Public Works Department the present existing Zanja problems . Councilman Uartzell announced that the San Oernardino Chamber of Com 711 merce will invite every mayor and councilman in the County to lunch K during the first week of November to discuss a new City-County sales tax formula and a more efficient use of City-County services .
