ADVISORY CUMMITTLE RECOMMENDATIONS - Ordinance No . 1193 - as considered by the 1965 . Council at a regular meetins. - thereof on October 5 , At this time it is the reconmendation of the Advisory Committ( that Lhe request of Lewis McKee for permission to sign the lm proverat ent Ordinance Agreement in lieu of installation of cur ,) and gutter as required in Tract No. 4598 for property located the south side of Elizabeth Street between Dwight and Halsey Streets be denied for the reason that the curb line for the street has been determined as per the general plan, and the ro of this block has been improved with standard curbing. On mo of Councilman Cummings , secanded 101- COUncilman Hartzell, this recommendation of the Advisory Committee was adopted by the G Council , with Lhe added reason that the street is presently, to ing eroded due to the faulty gutter. !TRAFFIC COMMISSION HECOMMENDATIONS At as regular meeting of the Traffic commission held October 2 the following recommendations were submitted for Council cons tion : Resolution Pursuant to Article 676, Section 676 - 8 Of the Redlansis No . 2486 Traffic Ordinance : To permit the removal of a loan e ding zone on the south skits of Vine Street from a point approximately IOuI cast of the center line of Cajon Street to a point 12y ' east . Pursuant to Article 678, Section 678 . 1 (A) and 078 . 2 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance : To establish a loading zone on the south side of Vine Street from a point approximately 120 ' east of the center line of Cajon Street to a point approximately 144 , of the center line of Cajon Street . Pursuant to Article 677 , Section 677J) (B) of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance and Article 621 , Section 6211 of the Meter Ordinance : To permit the removal of a twelve ( 12 ) minute parking limit on the south side of Vine Street from a point ap- proximately 184 ' cast of the center line of Cajon Street1. to a point 200 ' east . Pursuant to Article 677 , Section 677 . ? (A) of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance and Article 021 , Section 6211 of the Meter Ordinance : 'To establish a twelve 12 ) minute parking limit on south side of Vine Street from a point approximately 144 , east of center line of Cajon Street to a point 164 ' east of center line of Cajon Street , Resolution No . 2486, a resolution of the City of Redlands amending the Traffic Ordinance as above recommended, presented and adopted on , motion of Councilman Wagner, seconded by Councilman Martinez . 1j The Council congratulated Police Chief Bowen and Fire Chief Budd and their department members on "a job well done " in protecting the pub- !! lic during recent days , including Halloween . i'AGER City Manager Merritt presented Resolution No . 2487 , a resolution of the City of Redlands declaring the intention of the City to initi- ,ion ,87 ate on its own motion proceedings to annex approximately 224 acres re of uninhabited land designated as Annexation District No . 29 ;ion (Boullioun Property ) . On motion of Councilman Wagner , seconded by Councilman Martinez , this resolution was adopted by the City Council .; Resolution No . 2488, a resolution of the City of Redlands authorizing :ioll the purchase , through the State of California Department of General 88 Services , of one emergency Fire Department vehicle , adopted on motiol, it of Councilman Wagner, seconded by Councilman Cummings . At this time , on recommendation of Director of Public Works Shone , the Council formally accepted the Sewage Treatment Plant on the fol- 11 lowing motion by Councilman Cummings : "Since the contractor has ince ;e completed the construction of the sewage treatment plant and all lent work has met the requirements of the consulting engineer, the City of Redlands and the Federal Government , I move drat the City of ked- 11 I lands accept the plant as complete and authorize final payment of all k }
