The meeting was opened with the pledge of allegiance , followed
invocation by Reverend Jack H. Mottweiler of the Free Methodis
The minutes of the regular meeting of November 16 and the adjoi
meetings of November 22 and 26 were approved as submitted .
Introductions City Manager Merritt introduced Mr. Edward L. Sholl , newly app,
Director of Finance for the City, to the Council .
City Attorney Taylor Chen intro Koced his young daughter Cathy

of the Planning Department that final approval be given for
lot Split No . 365. On motion of Councilman Wagner, seconded
by Councilman Hartzell, the recommendation of the Planning Do

Nachinery and Equipment Company . This company has been serving watQ,

;Ompany to the 135 homes in a tract located on the southeast corner of Red-
)cI, lands Boulevard and Mountain View. The City would serve these users
a benefit to them in having a dependable water supply ; and the City
would benefit because the purchase would bring sabsLantially more
water than is necessary for the above mentioned service . Purchase
amount to be $32 , 56U.

surveys by Marshall and Stevens , Appraisers , in order to be brought

the City has acquired the sewer plant , the new city yards and cite

newed each year. To bring these up to date would require $2 , 606 - 00
