A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
AMENDING AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE
ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO 4898

OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
BOUNDARIES PREVIOUSLY
AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE REMOVAL NO 87
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has established certain
agricultural preserves pursuant to the California Land
Conservation Act of 1965;
WHEREAS, land to be included within the Agricultural
Preserve is used for the purpose of producing agricultural
commodities for commercial purposes and compatible uses;
WHEREAS, Resolution No 3649, adopted by the City
Council of the City of Redlands on February 19, 1980,
establishes policy criteria for removal of certain lands
from within the City's Agricultural Preserve; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redlands that
1. The applicant is the legal owner of record,
2. The land requested to be removed from the Preserve
abuts a developed zone other than agricultural;
3. The application is in conformity with the Redlands'
General Plan;
4. The land requested to be removed from the Preserve does
not circumvent land under contract in accordance with
the California Land Conservation Act of 1965;
5. Development adjoining contract land is in a pattern
that assures the shortest common boundary with fencing
provided as necessary to mitigate the impact of urban
development on continued agricultural use,
6. That the real property located in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as
definitely set forth in the amended map prepared by the
Department of Planning and Community Development in
Exhibit "A" which is incorporated by reference therein,
is hereby designated and established as an Agricultural
Preserve within the meaning of and pursuant to the
California Land Conservation Act of 1965, as amended,
and
7. Parcel identified by July, 1992, San Bernardino County
Assessor's Parcel No. 168-011-09 is therefore deleted
from the Agricultural Preserve as established by
Resolution No 4898
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of January,
1993.

the City Coi..nci1 at a regular meeting thereof held on the
19th day of January, 1993, by the following vote
