Following discussion, on motion of Councilman isient Martinez, seconded by Councilman Hartzell, Ordinance No. 1357, an ordi- ipancy nance of the City of Redlands amending Chapter 26 of the Ordinance Code relating to transient occupancy tax, was adopted, with waiver of the reading in full, by the following roll call vote; AYES : Councilmen Martinez, Hartzell, Mayor Burroughs NOES : None ABSENT: Councilmen Cummings, DeMirjyn Also for consideration at this time is a new agreement between the City of Redlands and the Redlands Unified School District. Manager Merritt "ement explained the agreement and pointed out the differences between this -eation new agreement and the agreement under which the Recreation Commission Assion had been operating, which were, in effect, a change in the life of the agreement from three years to ten years, a change in the Education Code numbers which relate to a Recreation Commission, and inclusion, under General Objectives, paragraph (e) , the authority to acquire and to es- tablish recreation centers or facilities as may be used for community recreation. On motion of Councilman Hartzell, seconded by Councilman Martinez, this new agreement was approved by the City Council, with the Mayor authorized to sign. Council considered two agreements between the City and Golden West Air- Cements lines, one relating to landing rights at the Redlands Airport, and the ten West other for office space within the airport structure. Following detailed -ines explanation by City Manager Merritt, on motion of Councilman Hartzell, seconded by Councilman Martinez, two agreements between the City and Golden West Airlines were approved, subject to FAA approval, with the
