The meeting was opened with the pledge of allegiance, followed by
invocation by Reverend Harold R. Hudspeth of Impact, United Presby,
Church.
The minutes of the Council meeting of August 6, 1968 were approved
submitted.
Mr. Zafon Hartman introduced Mr . Ross Collins who will replace him
secretary of the Downtown Redlands Association. Mayor Burroughs t]
Mr . Hartman for his hard work in behalf of the City, and wished hii
in his retirement.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
This being the time and place set for public hearing on Ordinance 1
1372, an ordinance of the City of Redlands adopting a zone classif:
for Annexation No. 38, Mayor Burroughs at this time declared the m4

The City has been requested to provide financial assistance in the
