ABSENT None
Mr. John Wagner presented Resolution No. 2712, a resolution of the
Council of the City of Redlands authorizing execution of an agreem(
with the Parking Authority of the City of Redlands and providing fc
advance of funds. This resolution applies to funds in the amount c
$175, 000 for the purchase and preparation of the parking facility Z
Redlands Boulevard and Orange Street, and for $54, 700 for property
sition for the parking lot on Eureka Street. Following a reading c
resolution in full, Resolution No. 2712 was adopted unanimously by
City Council on motion of Councilman Cummings, seconded by Councilr
Martinez.
Mr. Wagner then read in full Resolution No. 2713, a resolution of I
City Council authorizing the execution of a lease agreement with tI
Parking Authority of the City of Redlands as applies to the parkinc
at Redlands Boulevard and Orange Street and Eureka Street. Resolul
No. 2713 was then unanimously adopted by the City Council on motion
Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman Cummings.
Manager Merritt expressed his appreciation to Mr. John Wagner, Admi
Live Assistant, for the study and presentation of these documents i
those for the Parking Authority, and to Mr.- Ed Hyland of-Stone and
Youngberg, the City' s financial consultants, and to O'Melveny & My(
Manager Merritt announced an invitation to the Council to the groul
breaking ceremonies at Cedar Springs Dam on Saturday, November 9, 1
There being no further business scheduled for consideration at thiE
Council adjourned on motion, to an adjourned, adjourned regular me(
on Monday, November 4, 1968 at 7: 00 P.M.
