Councilman Cummings reported that, the Park Commission is working t(

Mr. A. B . Braswell of Celebrity Homes, who signed the annexation a(

Mayor, Burroughs read a letter from Mr . Kazunori Furuhashi, who Ilea,

February of this year. The letter_ expressed great gratitude for t'.
City' s hospitality and assured the Council. that.. they would bee1.c
any time for a return visit.
Manager Merritt reported tlae franchise payment in the amount of $3

ization was given for the Director of Building and Safety to proceed with

votes of all present.
The City Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids for t.lie Country Club

Resolution No. 2747 and Resolution No. 2743, which authorize the <app:l_i_ca-

Attorney Michael Quinn stated that the ettlement: of the Orange Co
Water Suit has taken a very favorable turn due to the abundant rai
and the probable availability of Feather River water.
Manager Merritt stated that a ,report concerning the proposed bus
will be presented to the Council within the week.
Bills and salaries were ordered paid as approved by the Finance Co
