Hairgrove That the tentative map of Tract No. 9361, located at the southwest < corner of West Crescent Avenue and Allessandro Road, R-E Zone, be approved as amended with setback lines and dimensions established by the Planning Department, and in accordance with the recommendations of the various departments as contained in Planning Commission minutes z dated July 13, 1976, amending Engineering Division recommendation No. III 5 t apply to lots 1 and 27 amending Planning Department requirement. � No, 8s "unnamed street to be named Sterling Road; " and deleting the last sentence of Planning Department recommendation No. 1.0. That Minor Subdivision No. 12, located at the southeast city limits ', of Redlands at the existing terminus of Country Club Drive, R-A Zone, n be approved. On motion of Councilman Miller, seconded by Council- woman Grace, unanimous approval was given to Minor Subdivision No. 124, subject to the recommendations of all departments as contained ifl Planning Commission minutes dated July 13, 1976. R.P.C. No. 440 - Amendment No. 132 to Ordinance 1000 That R.P.C. No. 440, an amendment to Section 45 .40 of Ordinance 1000 to permit waiver of lot dimension and area requirements in a residents zone for housing projects approved under the provisions of Section 52.00, be approved. On motion of Councilwoman Grace, seconded by 11 Councilman Miller, R.P.C. No, 440 was approved and Ordinance No. 1587 , an ordinance of the City of Redlands establishing the amendment 11 to the Zoning Ordinance as described in R.P.C. No. 440, was given first reading of the title and laid over under the rules with public fl hearing advertised for August 3, 1976, at 7 :00 P.M. �1 Housing Commission - Councilman Miller reported receipt of a letter from Mrs . Ann Siracusa of the County Planning Department announcing a meeting on Block Grant Housing in the Rialto Council. Chambers on July 21, He stated that he plans to attend. Recreation Commission -Councilman Knudsen reported that the commas- 11 sign had met Thursday a week ago, and that residents of Forest Falls are concerned because there is no program there this year . Council- 11 man Miller pointed out that the commission tried very hard in the early part of the year to establish a program there but did not �3 receive the response they should have had. TIONS AND PETITIONS On motion of Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman Elliott, =i Council unanimously granted the request of the YWCA .for permission � House to re-open the Morey House for public tours on the last Sunday ofn 3 each month, beginning officially August 29, 1976, and waived the 'x business license for this project. Acting City Manager Mitchell presented an application from Mr . P. 1 the park attendant's fees . On motion of Councilwoman Grace, seconded by Councilman Knudsen Waive Council unanimously waived the business license fee for the llt License Art.. Association Show to be held by the Redlands Art Association Art Show Smiley Park. on Saturday and Sunday, October 2 and 3, 1976. Mr . Rabe announced that the Association plans to present a percenta their sales to the A. K. Smiley Library. On motion of Councilman Knudsen, seconded by Councilman Miller , Waive Fees Council approved unanimously granting waiver of Redlands Bowl f Redlands for the High School Baccalaureate Service on Tune 12, 1977, and Bowl Commencement Exercises on Tune 16, 1977, with exception of the attendant ' s fee. COMMUNICA'T'IONS VA Office Mayor DeMirjyn announced that the Veterans Affairs Office will open in Redlands for another year , Councilwoman Grace reported briefly on the SCAG meeting which s attended recently in Los Angeles . Representatives were given a prepared report on the question of land use which will be voted at the next meeting, UNFINISHED BUSINESS Ordinance No. 1585, an ordinance of the City of Redlands amendi Ordinance Redlands Ordinance Code pertaining to fees for control of dogs, No. 1585 adopted, with waiver of the reading of the ordinance in full, c Fees - motion of Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman Elliott, by Togs following roll call vote: AYES . Councilmembers Knudsen, Miller, Grace, Elliott, Mayor EeMirjyn NOES : None ABSENT: None NEW BUSINESS Ordinance Ordinance No. 1586, an ordinance of the City of Redlands amendi No. 1586 Redlands Ordinance Code pertaining to taxicabs , was given first Taxicabs- ing of the title and laid over under the rules , with second rea Insurance set for August 3, 1976. On motion of Councilman Knudsen, seconded by Councilwoman Grace Resolution solution No. 3274, a resolution of the City Council of the City No. 3274 Redlands providing for placements of costs resulting from the a Weed Abate- ment Costs meat of weeds on the assessment rolls, was adopted, with the st instructed to check the figures in Exhibit A to be sure the sex charge has been included. CITY MANAGER On motion of Councilman Knudsen. seconded by Councilman Miller . On motion of Councilwoman Grace, seconded by Councilman Knudsen, Council unanimously accepted a grant deed from the estate of Lupe Deed Cardoza for street right-of-way, with the City Clerk authorized to xza sign the certificate of acceptance in behalf of the City. The property is being donated free of charge for widening of the east side ! of Church Street between Pennsylvania Avenue and San Bernardino Avenue !, 0H and Mrs . Grace expressed gratitude to the property owners for their gift. Bills and salaries were ordered paid as approved the the Finance Committee. There being no further business, Council adjourned at 7 :35 P.M. , on motion, to an adjourned regular meeting at 2 :00 P.M. on July 27, 1976 . Next regular meeting, August 3, 1976.
