Conditional Use Permit No. 315 - Redlands Federal Savings - Fire Hyd Installation On motion of Councilman Riordan, seconded by Councilman DeMirjyn, th lation of three new fire hydrants and the upgrading of and replacem heads on two additional hydrants by the Redlands Federal Savings as mended by the Public Works Department was approved by AYE votes of a present. 2 . Commission Review and Approval No. 402 - Don Leonard - Fire Hydrant Installation On motion of Councilman DeMirjyn , seconded by Councilman Riordan, th quest for waiver was denied by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmembers DeMirjyn, Riordan; Mayor Martinez NOES : Councilmember Elliott ABSENT: Councilmember Knudsen 3. Request for Temporary Trailer - Teledyne Request for permission to locate a temporary trailer for additional space during construction was approved on motion of Councilman Riord seconded by Councilman DeMirjyn, subject to the requirements outline memorandum of Building and Safety Director Dale, with AYE votes of a resent. 4 . Conditional Use Permit No- 312 - U-Haul Company of San Bernardino - Approval All requirements as outlined in Council minutes dated August 7 , 1979 been complied with for Conditional Use Permit No. 312 , it is the rec tion of the Planning Department that final approval be granted. On of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman Elliott, final approv given Conditional Use Permit No. 312 by AYE votes of all present. 5. Agricultural Preserve Removal No. 35 David Weisz 6. Agricultural Preserve Removal No. 36 J. Lamar and Lewis Johnston Resolution No. 3609 , a resolution of the City Council for approval o cultural Preserve Removal No. 35 which is five acres of property loc on the southeast corner of Pioneer Avenue and Occidental Drive and A tural Preserve Removal No. 36 which is five acres of property locate the east side of Occidental Drive, approximately 200 feet south of P Avenue, A-1 Zones, was approved on motion of Councilman Riordan, se by Councilman Elliott, by AYE votes of all present. On advice of staff and City Attorney, Council. denied the request for waiveri of zoning restriction in connection with Day-care Center on motion of Coun- , cilman Elliott, seconded by Councilman Riordan. Park Commission - will meet on September 20 , 1979 , at 1:45 P.M. in the City; I Hall Conference Room. Housing Commission will meet on the third Thursday of September. Ordinance No. 1701 , an ordinance of the City of Redlands amending the Red- �ce tol lands Ordinance Code by the addition of Section 67905 , Prohibiting Misrepre� sentation Regarding Parking Provisions, was given first reading of the title and laid over under the rules with second reading set for September 18 , 1970. Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission - Councilman Riordan agreed to attend the September and October meeting in Councilman Elliott ' s place as he will be on vacation. MONS AND PETITIONS The Friends of the Library were granted permission to conduct a book sale in Smiley Park on Saturday, September 29, 1979, with waiver of required business license, on motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman Riordan. The Christian Record Braille Foundation ' s request for a waiver of a busines license to solicit funds from business people in the City of Redlands was denied on motion of Councilman DeMirjyn , seconded by Councilman Riordan. iCATIONS In response to inquiries made of a Big Bear Lake resident, Councilman DeMirjyn stated he and Councilman Knudsen do have joint ownership in a chain saw which is currently in Mr. Knudsen ' s possession .
