Council expressed their apprecia- tion to Phyllis Irshay for her hospitality and the refreshments which she ;srri4l�+title provided for the budget study sessions. �y�s4tli ! Bowl Fes On motion of Councilman Martinez, seconded b Councilman DeMirjyn, all t Y jY ittihty Waiver bowl rental fees were waived by AYE votes of all present for the Redlands Community Association, Inc., for their 1983 summer season. Also included Business in this motion was permission for the Optimist Club to sell fruit juice License s2 i's�iti,(lduring the evening performances and an exemption from the City's business Waiver license requirements under Section 2122 of the Redlands Ordinance Code. 1 s {y tit lt Resolution Resolution No. 3893, a resolution of the City Council of the City of �t)��Ptyg No. 3893 Redlands supporting the American Baptist Homes of the West (ABHOW) in its �t 'ttt efforts to construct a senior housing project in the City of Redlands, Senior Housing was approved by AYE votes of all present on motion of Councilman Martinez, Project• seconded by Councilman DeMirjyn. Mrs. B. J. Nichka from the San Bernardino County Office of Community Development provided information on the Rental Rehabilitation Demonstra- County tion Loan Program which is available through her office. The program is Rental designed to rehabilitate rental units which are now substandard or have i ityl�sti, - Loan a major building component which will soon need repair or replacement, ��lttttti; Program- and to provide upgraded affordable rental units. Further information on this program is available in the City Manager's Office, and anyone S�i�tt�y'tr interested in this program may be referred to Mrs. Nichka. z s s,y Council held held a budget study session with presentations from the following: !
