Reconsider At the City Council meeting of May 17, 1988, the Council denied, by a two-to-Levo vote,
Bond a cooperative agreement for bond financing of a multi-family housing project and a

the May 17th meeting, requested this item be placed on this date's agenda for possible

I reconsideration. City Attorney Holmes pointed out that past City policy and parliamentary �
procedure dictated that only one of the two NO cotes, Councilmember DeMirjyn or
§YI t ouncilmomber Cunningham, could bring the item back for reconsideration. Mayor id
til Beswick mentioned that new packets, including r revised cooperative, agreement with
j the, County, had been delivered to City Hall just one,, hour before the meeting which yf
was riot sufficient: time for review. Neither Councilmember made any motion to reconsider 7i
the Maskan Development Company application; thus, the item was not reconsidered.

Budget Reviews The. following departments presented their proposed 1.988-89 budgets for review IryS'.
v the, City Council: Fire Department, A. K. Smiley Library, and Engineering. Courrclmemlaers
agreed to meet again on May 31st for further budget reviews. 4jt
