Other areas of concern include the boundaries adjacent to Yucaipa and Loma Linda. Mr. Shaw also presented information regarding annexaflnn procedures and processing. 2 s C.ouncllmember Cunningham moved to direct staff to indicate to LAFCO and the City of Highland that land beyond our existing northerly boundary that intersects with the Santa Ana River should not be included in the Highland Sphere of Influence. t r Motion seconded b Councilmember Wormser and carried b AYE votes of all present. 'r' Y Y € Council asked Mr. Shaw to bring back a map changing our Sphere in the Yucaipa area "h to include Crafton College, the frontage road along I-10, and the Live Oak Canyon area for further discussion, s !i; $3< �iir=k Council indicated they desired to strongly maintain the line in the area of Loma Linda. ` Mr. Shaw was directed to prepare a report addressing the Edison planet to the northwest:, ii f ri and to initiate preliminary annexation proceedings based on the East Valley Corridor r(r ,1— Plan. Council also expressed a desire; to receive further information at a future; 7 meeting regarding the southwest: area north of Barton Road.
