I The General Plan. Update contract calls for joint City G'ouncil/Planning Commission ;
meetings to be held after the first month and at four-month intervals thereafter. Tbis �
� 1 is the first meeting, the purpose of which is to review a refined work programa
WHO, Mr. Blaney reviewed the public-participation program, including the role of the Advisory $
Committee. He noted the Advisory Committee needs to set time, aside for public r,.
participation as well as time for the committee members only. Liaisons from each City i
commission and board will. be invited to attend these meetings. Council discussed the
Planning Area Boundary and agreed to include the area north to the Santa Ana River
and to the southeast using the Crafton Hills ridgeline, 5-10 Freeway, and Riverside � z

ins County Line as that boundary with Crafton Hills College included in our sphere of
