MINUTES of an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redlands held in
the City Hall Conference Boom, 30 Cajon Street, on February 24, 1989, at 9:00 A.M.

This adjourned meeting was held in order to hold the annual City Council workshop
establishing goals and objectives for the coming year.
Public Information Officer Jane Kruse presented a slide show picturing some of the
past year's accomplishments. She then briefly described a City-wide newsletter that
will be mailed in mid-April which will combine general City news, activities of the
Recreation Division and the Joslyn Senior Center, and a cultural arts schedule.
Each department reviewed their goals and objectives for the coming year and responded
to Councilmembers' questions.
Since Councilmember Johnson is resigning effective February 28, 1989, assignment
of Council representatives to boards and commissions was postponed until the vacancy
is filled.
The meeting adjourned at 12:42 P.M. The next regular meeting will be held March 7,
1989.
