A spacial meeting ofI the Cily Council was held to d'scruss the ballot language contained
in Rosulution No. 4E 03 approved an January)23, 1990, regarding a ptoposcil utility)users
taxi riot to exceed 4%. Since that time, the committee and slaffhavo datcrmined that the
arnaunl neaded will not erxoeerd 2.fl% and dasined to cilariN the priorities ufl programs
upon which the proceeds will bo axperided. City Atlomay McHugh explained that the
County] Registrar of Moters Office has consented to extend the deadlines to allow the
Rled:ands City Courcil to amerid the text uflthe ballot question.
