MINUTES of an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redlands,
held in the City Hall Conference Room, 30 Cajon Street, on January 15,
1991, at 8:30 A.M.
PRESENT Charles G. DeMirjyn, Mayor
Carole Beswick, Mayor Pro Tem
William E. Cunningham, Councilmember
Swen Larson, Councilmember
Dee Ann Milson, Councilmember
James D. Wheaton, City Manager
Lorrie Poyzer, City Clerk
ABSENT None
Business Plan City Manager Wheaton presented the City of Redlands’ Draft Business Plan
submitted by The Management Team through Marjie Pettus dated January
11, 1991. It was noted this was an unedited edition, which has been in the
process of preparation for approximately 14 months. Councilmembers felt
this document was a first rate effort and that several workshop sessions
needed to be devoted to its review. At this time, Council reviewed the
Finance Department, Accounting Services Division. Members of the Finance
Committee, Mrs. Milson and Mr. Cunningham, reported they would be
presenting their recommendations to the full Council in the near future
addressing their concerns.
The meeting recessed at 9:55 A.M. to a closed session to discuss personnel
matters. The meeting reconvened at 11:50 A.M. at which time the City
Council liaisons to the various boards; commissions and task forces were
assigned for the coming calendar year. The meeting was adjourned at 12:10
P.M.
Next regular meeting, January 15, 1991, at 3:00 P.M.
