At the last Council meeting,Council asked stafflto study what
alternatives were available to improve the appearances of the Blacks
Houses located al 1502 North Orange Strut,which was designated
as a Historic Property in 198'x. Stafflhas ncil had gime to gest
together with the various departmemi s to explore all of the options
at chis time. Howeveti, staffhas called the appropriate

At the City Council meeting of May], 1991,Council reviewed a
list of allernat.ive actions pertaining to tf e used car facility owned
by Malph Osska to permil the cmpanision of a non-canftirmiing
business to allow a building addition and auction sales on the
urfmprovad portion of the pmporty. As directed by Council, staff'
mat with flat Meyer,the applicani's represeniat:ivo, on May 33 at
which gime it was determined additional time was needed to find a
king-term solution to tf is issue. Staff and the applicant agreed to

prepaned a confidential memo to Council providing justification for
the pending litigation portion oflthe ciloscad session. Council
reconvened at 7:00 P.M.
RHS Football Team Mayon DeMirjyn presented a certificate of appreciation to the
Mid]ands High School Terrier Football Team fbil then many hours
of voluntecm services to the City and in recognition of all thein hard
waoAl and spirit of volunleeriismi. The coach then introduced each
member of tl a t eam present at the meeting.
