and thci anncmation rescinded. Wanda Moores also wanted paved
haul toads and cmprossed conctms about the noise standards and
added for a"no projecit"vote.
Certrude Hagurn again aslkd whyl the contract did not expire until
2065; suggested limiting the hours oafloperalion and tonnage;and
exprossed conceims about the lacild of a new or amended
roclamiation plan. On bohalflof d o CAM of High land, Steve Walker
and Ernest Wong raitorated thoit concerns concerning traffic and
noise. Orn behalf Iof Rlobertson's Rleadi-Mix,John Harte and Craig
Fihil lips reiterated their comiorns and not(d they were dodicated
and commitiled to the use afl haul toads and a tunnel under Orange
Stmat. Iltank Hill also urged Council to require haul toads. The
applicant,Iron Ilharris, addressed Council at length and reviaw d
tho four issues.At 5:2811.M.the public hearing on the Mitigation
Monitoring and l eport:ing IMogram was closed. Cour eilmembor
Milson angrily)noted that so much had been done and so much
trona expendo d on this projoet but we are still facing the same
problems: traffic,naiso, and air pollution. She siatcd the impact on
the neighbors is cnoarwous and d c Clityl needed to solve these
problems to the best aflits abilitios but did not feel the Clityl Council
was headed in lho riigl't direction. Sha urged hot ffillow

Coundlinumbens vanlinued their discussions on this matter
cmprossing their individual opinions. Cour cihrfember Beswick
:i ndi cal ed 1 heyl did not have the hard figures to deal with at this
meeting and she also desired a reviews period be;included within
the agreement 1 o allow the Cil 31 to address any problems that arise
dufng the duration of the contract. Courcilmember Beswick

and dim ated staff to provide the costs associated with the street
sweeping needs and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Pnograrri
to include a duration ofltimes in the New Conditions No. 32 relating
