Smiley Public Library Assembly Room, 125 West Vine Street, on May 25, 1993, at 9:00 A.M. PRESENT Charles G. DeMirjyn,Mayor Swen Larson, Mayor Pro Tem. William E. Cunningham, Councilmember Dee Ann Milson, Councilmember Jim Foster, Councilmember James D. Wheaton, City Manager Lorrie Poyzer, City Clerk Ted Thomaidis, Redlands Daily Facts Steven Church, The Sun ABSENT None Fire Department Headquarters Building - On behalf of a national retail store, Ken Scherer presented verbal proposals relating to the purchase of the Fire Department Headquarters building located at 525 East Citrus Avenue. Councilmember Cunningham indicated he wanted two stations constructed and no debt incurred. Councilmembers concurred they were willing to receive further information on this matter. 1993-94 Budget - Finance Director Chapman reviewed the General. Fund revenue as estimated for the coming fiscal year. Proposed budgets for the following departments were reviewed with the department heads: City Attorney, City Treasurer, Finance, General Services, Community Development, Community Services, Library, Police, Fire, and the Engineering, Airport, and Wastewater Divisions of the Public Works Department. Councilmembers concurred to continue their review of the proposed budgets for the remaining departments, reserve accounts, and Redevelopment Agency on June 8, 1993.. Adjournment - The City Council meeting recessed at 11:45 A.M. for lunch and reconvened at 1:00 P.M. The meeting adjourned at 3:30 P.M. to an adjourned regular meeting to be held on June 1, 1993, at 9:00 A.M. in the Redlands Plaza Conference Room, 2 East Citrus Avenue, Suite 15C, Redlands, California.
