ABSENT None
Investment Bankers' Proposals - Proposals were received for the refunding of
the Redevelopment Agency's 1987 Tax Allocation Refunding Bonds, 1989
Subordinate Tax Allocation Bonds, 1989 Refunding Parking Lease Revenue
Bonds, the Measure O General Obligation Bonds, Series 1988A, and the Wal-
Mart parking facilities lease buyout. Council heard presentations from Miller&
Shroeder Financial, Inc., Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, Inc., Whipple, and Kinsell &
O'Neal, Inc. A proposal was also received from Norman K. McPhail, M. L.
Stern& Co. Inc.
Recess and adjournment - The City Council meeting recessed at 4:30 P.M. to a
closed session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters. No report was
expected following the closed session.
