PRESENT Swen Larson, Mayor Jim Foster, Mayor Pro Tem William E. Cunningham, Councilmember Gilberto Gil, Councilmember (arrived at 10:15 A.M.) Pat Gilbreath, Councilmember Gary M. Luebbers, City Manager Daniel J. McHugh, City Attorney Lorrie Poyzer, City Clerk Ted Thomaidis, Redlands Daily Facts Steven Church, The Sun ABSENT None Surface Mining Operations - Santa Ana Wash - Representatives from Sunwest Materials, Inc. and Robertson's Ready Mix presented overviews of their existing and proposed operations in the Santa Ana Wash. Community Development Director Jeffrey L. Shaw reported staff will prepared the development agreements and CEQA lead agency issues for the City Council's consideration at their November 15, 1994, meeting. Dee Ann Milson informed Councilmembers that the concerns of the north Redlands citizens, especially those along the bluff, were still the same. Those concerns include dust from the haul roads and stockpiles, air quality, and noise. The City Council briefly recessed at 10:04 A.M. and reconvened at 10:15 A.M. at which time Mayor Larson was not present. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the City Council meeting adjourned at 10:30 A.M. City Clerk Special Meeting November 1, 1994 Page 1
