Solid Waste Management Workshop - Solid Waste Manager
Valorie Shatynski presented an informational overview
of the solid waste issues and objectives including AD
939, landfill reduction goals; California Street
Landfill ' s closure versus expansion; San Timoteo
Canyon Landfill expansion; long-term landfill
options; material recovery facility and transfer
station; fiscal issues; and implementation of
Citywide recycling programs . Future study sessions
are scheduled to be held on May 2 , 1995 , and May 16 ,
1995 .
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the City Council
meeting adjourned at 9 :40 A.M. The next regular
meeting will be held on March 21, 1995, at 3 : 00 P.M.
