Martinez, Councilman This special meeting of the City Council was called for the purpoE of considering: (1) Participation of the City of Redlands in meetings of Mut Water Companies on the proposed spin-off of assets of BE Valley Mutual Water Company. Water Superintendent Lowry brought to Council attention the diffi( and inefficiency of having only one individual authorized to reprE the City of Redlands at various water company meetings. Following discussion, Councilman Hartzell moved as follows: That City of Redlands shall participate in meetings of mutual water con Bear Valley panies directly or indirectly owned or controlling shares of Bear Stock Mutual Water Company and for such purposes, to authorize Mayor Bul Split City Manager Merritt, Public Works Director Shone, Water SuperintE Lowry, Gene Johnson, of the Water Department, and Cemetery Superir Vander Linde, to participate in such meetings, and hold and vote E of stock in opposition to the proposal to transfer assets of the E Valley Mutual Water Company to the Big Bear Development Company. aUJUU1L11WU at. -*: GV r .1�1„ Ull SttU1-LU1l.
