This special meeting of the City Council was necessitated by the
refusal of the County Board of Supervisors to approve an exchange of
land between the County and the City of Redlands without deeds in
hand. The meeting was called to order at 7 :05 A.M. by Vice Mayor
DeMirj yn.
Director of Public Works Shone explained that for twelve and cine--hal:
years exchanges between the County Flood Control District and. the
City of Redlands have been developed by staff members for receipt by
both entities .
Councilman Knudsen explained that the ratio for the exchange was
based upon an agreement developed twelve and ane-half years ago for
one and one-half acres of "wet" land to be exchanged for one acre of
