This special meeting of the City Council was necessitated by the lack
of agreement on appointment of an appraiser for the Redevelopment re a.'

Council concurred that having made known an existing interest,

Mayor Ctimminqs then asked. "Have you had business dealings wit
Hastings?" Answering, Mr , Knudsen said: "Mot directly, some

Stating that he believed the City Manager had studied the matte
qualified appraisers very well, Councilman Sewall moved that Co
�€ accept the recommendation and approve Mr . Ray R. Hastings for t

service. Motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and approved
AYE votes of all present.
Mr. Knudsen stated that it was well that these questions were a

and that he was neat embarrassed by them. He suggested that if
up" work were needed., the other men be used.
On motion of Councilman Knudsen, seconded by Councilman Miller ,
City Manager was authorized to execute the certificate of accep
11 Grant Deed in behalf of the City for the grant deed on the property at 11.
1.1 Grant Street. Purchase of this property was authorized at the meed
Street September 19, 1972, Motion carried by AYE votes of all present

Council discussed other matters informally.
