to Larry Jacinto Construction Company on the grounds that they submitted anon--
i3, responsive bid), the request by Councilmember DeMjrjyn to reconsider this contract
}j award was discussed in closed session. Also discussed was pending litigation,
Osborne,/Lantern Bay versus the City of Redlands, The City Attorney prepared a Mi
confidential memo to Council providing justification for the closed sessions. Council

Contract Award By unanimous votes, Council reconsidered the contract award approved July 19, 1988, �
f for the Oriental Avenue Improvement Pooject: and awarded the contract to Inland g{•
Constructors of Loma Linda, the lowest bSdder meeting all bid requirements. The
ji-2 Larry Jacinto Construction Company bid was rejected as it did not meet the bid
rcrquirements. Council recessed at 4:16 P.M. to the closed session to discuss the
v,4 Osborne/Lantern Bay pending litigation. No announcement was expected Following z
