Mayor Beswick called the meeting to order and immediately recessed it to a closed
session for the purpose of discussing pending litigation. In accordance with State Rk,NO #
law, the City Attorney prepared a confidential memo to Council providing justification 1,
for the closed session.

The meeting was adjourned to Friday, August 18, 1989, at 7:00 A.M. in the City Hall
Conference Room, 30 Cajon Street.
