PRESENT Charles G. DeMirjyn, Mayor Carole Beswick, Mayor Pro Tem William E. Cunningham, Councilmember Swen Larson, Councilmember Dee Ann Milson, Councilmember James D. Wheaton, City Manager Lorrie Poyzer, City Clerk ABSENT None Planned Residential Developments - Community Development Director Shaw reminded Council they had directed staff to initiate an ordinance amendment to resolve processing conflicts and inconsistencies within the portion of the Municipal Code on Planned Residential Developments. In examining the Code provisions, staff also found it appropriate to consider amending other portions of the ordinance to include the density and open space provisions. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the processing amendments to the City Council on September 18, 1990. The Commission was concerned with the details of those portions of the ordinance relating to density and open space and during two study sessions and two public hearings, the Commission recommended several clarifications and technical changes and gave staff the general direction to broaden and provide flexibility in the ordinance. The ordinance amendment was modified to respond to the Commission's comments and was recommended for approval through the adoption of Redlands Planning Commission Resolution No. 761 and Ordinance No. 2136 has been scheduled for a City Council public hearing on November 20, 1990. Mr. Shaw then reviewed proposed Ordinance No. 2136. The meeting recessed at 9:25 A.M. to a closed session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters. No report was expected following the closed session. Next regular meeting,November 6, 1990, at 3:00 P.M.
