A joint City Council and Public Works Commission workshop was held at this time to
review the Program Report for Development Impact Fees dated October 1990. This
report presented by City Engineer Mutter covered the various impacts of infrastructure,
including street and traffic signal construction, and storm drain construction. Impacts on
public facilities included fire, police, library, city hall, and city yard facilities.
Noting there was not a quorum of the Public Works Commission present, Commissioner
Feenstra requested additional time for the Commission to study this report before making
any recommendations to the City Council. Commissioner Johnson distributed a
spreadsheet of the fees which he had prepared and reported this matter was scheduled on
their December 10, 1990, agenda.
The meeting adjourned at 10:05 A.M. Next regular meeting of the City Council,
November 20, 1990, at 3:00 P.M.
