PRESENT Swen Larson, Mayor Pro Tem William E. Cunningham, Councilmember Jim Foster, Councilmember Gary Luebbers, Interim City Manager Lewis Nelson, Police Chief Lorrie Poyzer, City Clerk Steven Church, The Sun ABSENT Charles G. DeMirjyn,Mayor Dee Ann Milson, Councilmember Mayor Pro Tem.Larson called the special meeting of the City Council to order. Lease-Purchase Agreement - Police Computer - Following brief discussion, Councilmember Cunningham moved to authorize a 60 month lease-purchase agreement with Government Leasing Company, Colorado Springs, Colorado, for a General Automation A500-002 computer for the Police Department's 800- megahertz communication system and further authorized the Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk to sign the necessary documents on behalf of the City. Motion seconded by Councilmember Foster and carried by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Cunningham, Foster; Mayor Pro Tem Larson. NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmembers DeMirjyn, Milson Sale of Police Motorcycles - On motion of Councilmember Larson, seconded by Councilmember Cunningham, Council authorized the sale of five (5) police motorcycles to Bennies Auto & Truck Sales of Gove city, Ohio, for $20,075.00 by AYE votes of all present. Proceeds of this sale will be used towards the purchase of other vehicles. Lease-Purchase Agreement - Police Cars - Folowing brief discussion, Councilmember Foster moved to authorize a 60 month lease-purchase agreement with Ford Motor Company for eight 1993. black and white police cars, authorized the Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk to sign the necessary documents on behalf of the City, and authorized an additional appropriation in. the amount of$2,388.00 Date Page 1 Adjournment - There being no further business, the City Council meeting adjourned at P.M.
