2000.

ABSENT None
Mayor Gilbreath called the meeting to order. Community Development
Director Shaw introduced Jeff Goldman and Sharon. Hightower, Parsons
Harland Bartholomew and Associates, Inc. Section 65588(e)(1) of the State of
California Planning and Zoning Law requires the City of Redlands Housing
Element be updated and adopted by June 30, 2000. Our current Housing
Element was adopted as part of the City's General Plan in October, 1995. A
summary of the Housing Needs Assessment and a draft of the Program
Evaluation tables was reviewed in detail and questions were answered by the
consultants and Community Development Director Shaw. A draft will be
presented to the Planning Commission, the Housing Commission, and the City
Council. Following those meetings, a revised draft will be submitted the State
HCD Office for their review and a final draft will be adopted by the City
Council.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the City Council meeting adjourned at
1.0:1.5 A.M. The next regular meeting will be held on January 18, 2000, at
3:00 P.M.
