Renaissance Banquet Hall, 19 East Citrus Avenue, Redlands, California, at
12:00 Noon on July 6, 2004.
PRESENT Susan.Peppler, Mayor
Gilberto Gil, Mayor Pro Tem
Gary George, Councilmember
Jon Harrison, Councilmember
ABSENT Pat Gilbreath, Councilmember
The Redlands Chamber of Commerce hosted the fifth annual State of the
Community luncheon. Chamber of Commerce President Joel Peterson
welcomed those present, acknowledged members of the Chamber of Commerce
Board of Directors and staff, delivered an invocation, and led the audience with
the pledge of allegiance. He then introduced Mayor Peppler who called the
City Council meeting to order and explained the format of this meeting. Mayor
Peppler introduced the Councilmembers, other elected officials present, City
department heads and Redlands Unified School Board members who were
present.
Mayor Pro Tem Gil, Councilmember George, Councilmember Harrison, and
Mayor Peppler each spoke for approximately ten minutes each. Economic
Development Director Ralph Megna presented an economic development
report. These presentations were followed with a brief question and answer
forum.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
None forthcoming.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Peppler declared the meeting adjourned
at 1:26 P.M.
