Mayor Peppler called the special meetings of the City Council and Planning
Commission to order.
PRESENTATION
SCAG - A Vision for Growth in Southern California - Councilmember George
introduced Lynn Harris, Community Development Manager for Southern
California Association of Governments, Arnold San Miguel, SCAG's local staff
person, and Jim Donavan from the National Park Service. Ms. Harris presented
The 2% Strategy - A Vision for Growth in Southern California. Thanking the
Redlands Conservancy for inviting SCAG to make this presentation,
Councilmember George introduced Shirley Leonard from the Redlands
Conservancy who presented their Emerald Necklace Program.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Employee Kudos - Judy Miller described a Christmas tree fire in an apartment in
Redlands this past Sunday and commended Investigator Rich Lindner for his
kindness and concern for the victims.

There being no further business, the City Council meeting adjourned at 2:55 P.M.
