PUBLIC COMMENTS
Ne otiatin - Steve Rogers called for more participation in negotiations from
the City Manager.
CLOSED SESSION
The City Council meeting recessed at 2:18 P.M. to a closed session to discuss
the following:
1. Conference with labor negotiator- Government Code §54957.6
Agency Negotiator: Steve Filarsky
Employee Organizations: Redlands Association of Mid-Management
Employees; Redlands Civilian Safety Employees Association; Redlands
Professional Firefighters Association
2. Conference with labor negotiator- Government Code §54957.6
Agency Negotiator: City Council Sub-Committee
Employee Organizations: Redlands Association of Management
Employees; Redlands Association of Mid-Management Employees; General
Employees Association of Redlands (SBPEA); Redlands Civilian Safety
Employees Association(SBPEA); Redlands Police Officers
Association; Redlands Professional Firefighters Association; Redlands
Association of Safety Management Employees; and Redlands Association of
Fire Management Employees
The meeting adjourned at 3:15 P.M. to be reconvened concurrent with the
regular meeting closed session scheduled for a later hour on the same date.
CLOSED SESSION REPORT
City Attorney McHugh announced there was no reportable action taken during
the closed session. Councilmember Gallagher recused himself from discussions
involving the Redlands Professional Firefighters Association.
NEW BUSINESS
Memorandum of Understanding (MM - On motion of Councilmember
Aguilar, seconded by Councilmember Gallagher, the City Council unanimously
approved an MOU, for a period ending June 30, 2012, between the City of
Redlands and the Redlands Association of Mid-Management Employees.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
Tax Increase and Budaet Shortfalls - Steve Rogers made comment on his
observations of the budgeting process and events of leading to the proposal for a
local sales tax in Redlands. In reaction to Mr. Roger's comments, Mayor Pro
Tem Bean inquired of the City Treasurer, how much money the City of
Redlands received from Walmart Corporation for participation in the June 8,
2010 Special Municipal Election. Treasurer Kundig informed everyone in
attendance the City of Redlands received no money from Walmart for the
election.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the City Council meeting adjourned at 3:15
P.M.
