MINUTES of a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Redlands held in the
Council Chambers, Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, on October 19, 2010, at 2:15
P.M.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
Airport Sale - Numerous speakers expressed concern over a closed session
agenda item reflecting negotiations pertaining to an offer to purchase the City of
Redlands Airport.
CLOSED SESSION
The City Council meeting recessed at 2:25 P.M. to a closed session to discuss
the following:
1. Conference with labor negotiator- Government Code §54957.6

CLOSED SESSION REPORT
City Attorney McHugh announced there was no reportable action taken during
the closed session. To allay concerns expressed earlier in public comments,
Mayor Gilbreath explained that the City Council was in unanimous agreement
that the City would not sell the airport, but they could discuss the offer and
reach that unanimity only in a closed session to comply with the Brown Act.
