PRESENT: Pete Aguilar, Mayor Paul Foster, Mayor Pro Tem Bob Gardner, Councilmember Planning Commission Quorum Historic & Scenic Preservation Commission Quorum Parks & Recreation Commission Quorum ABSENT: Jon Harrison, Councilmember Jerry Bean, Councilmember STAFF: Sam Irwin, City Clerk; Carl Baker, Public Information Officer; Jeff Frazier, Fire Chief, Mark Garcia, Police Chief, Fred Mousavipour, Municipal Utilities and Engineering Interim Director To address Brown Act considerations, Mayor Aguilar called this special meeting to provide the opportunity for all Councilmembers and Commissioners to attend a tour of Park renovations. PUBLIC COMMENTS: None forthcoming. PRESENTATION: Downtown Reinvestment - Mayor Aguilar welcomed all those present and introduced Fred Mousavipour, Interim Director of the Municipal Utilities and Engineering, who provided an overview of the Ed Hales Park renovation project and pointed out various changes made to the facility. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, this meeting was adjourned at 4:36 P.M. The Council will reconvene at their regular meeting, also on November 15, 2011, at 5:00 P.M.
