The Board of I'�rustees of the City of Redlands , do ordain as
follows :
Sec 1. Any person who, within the corporate lirriits of the city
of Redlands , and without penMission of the o,v er , shall dig up,
Paull up, cut , breakk, mutilate or in any war wilfully destroy or in-
jure any ornwnental or flowering; tree , shrub , vine rte,.. plant,, pl;: ►ted
and growing upon the land of ano' shall out, pick, break off,
,gather or take any flower or bud fruit b e i nr.), or upon any
such tree, shrub , vine or plant, shall be [_;uilty of a misdemetan-
or and punishable by fins; not exceeding dollars
or by imprisonment in the city jail not exceeding
days , or by both such fine and impri sonrrkent .
Sec . 2. For the purposes of the foreboing section, the owner
of land abuttin-; upon any public street , all�;y road, shall be dee -
ed the owner of said street, alley or road, to the zuiddle line there-
of opposite his land.
Sec. 3. This ordinance ,shall take effect and be in force from
