AN ORDINANCE OF INTENTION TO CLOSE AN ALLEY ON HOME YLAC,6.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as
Follows :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9 , Part
3, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Cali-
fornia and to vacate a part of a street in the manner provided
therein.
SECTION TWO: This City Council does hereby declare that
it is the intention of this City Council to order the vacation of
an alley on Home Place, described as follows :
All that part of Home Place in the City of Redlands ,
County of San Bernardino , State of California, lying
westerly of Alvarado Street as shown on map of Alvarado
Terrace Addition No . 2 , as per plat recorded in Book 17
of Maps, page 34 , records of said county, described as
follows :
A 30 foot wide strip of land lying adjacent to and north
of Lot 8, extending from the west line of said Alvarado
Street to the west line of said Alvarado Terrace Addition
No. 2 .
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that
the closing of the alley on Home Place , described herein, is re-
quired by public interest , convenience , safety and welfare .
SECTION FOUR: A map setting out the particulars of the
proposed street 'vacation shall be on file in the office of ti-le City
Clerk and available for inspection by interested persons .
SECTION FIVE.- The City Council hereby fixes the time and,
d4,t,e and place of Public Hearing of all matters concerning the
above-described proposed street closing, and the time at which any
person or agent should present any objection to the aforesaid street
vacation, at P. M. on the day of S

3BQTION SIX: This ordinance shall. take effect in 30 days
once in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation.,
printed and published in the City of Redlands, California.
