nn ordinance establishing a datum plane for the City of Redlands,
and d ,s,ignating a bench mark therein,
The Board of Trustees of the ('ity of Redlands, do oddain as follows :
Peation 1 , That for the purpose of establishing and designating the
offleial grades of the Streets, alleys, avenues, public places, sewers,
and other grades in the City of Redlands, sea level is hereby declared to
be the daturra plane of said City, and as a permanet bench mark within
said City, whose altitude above sea level has been ascertained the Fast
end of the tor; oft he iron sill in the door way of the Union Rank Build-
ing, located on the North-cast corner of Change and State Streets, in
said City, is hereby adopted and designated as a permanent bench mark
within said City of Redlands, and the elevation of said end of said sill
and bencYi mark is .1354 , 175 feet above said datum :plane .
Section 2. This ordinance ig numbered c� �F, and shall take effect from
