GISH A FRANCHISE TO OPERATE AUTHORIZED EMERGENCY AMBULANCE VEHICLES FOR A PERIOD NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY YEARS OVER, ALONG AND UPON THE STREETS OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Section 10, Ordinance No. 1300 prescribes that Grantee shall secure and maintain at all times a policy or policies of insurance. SECTION 2 . As the Grantee, Leroy C. Gish, is unable to furnish insurance satisfactory to the city, and as the Council finds that the furnishing of satisfactory insurance is a con- sideration material to the grant of the franchise, the Council hereby cancels, as of September 21, 1970, the franchise granted by Ordinance No. 1300. SECTION 3 . This ordinance is declared to be an emer- gency measure for the preservation of the public health and safety in accordance with the provisions of the Government Code of the State of California. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts . This ordinance shall take effect immedi- ately upon its adoption.
