AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING THE REDLANDS
ORDINANCE CODE - WELFARE - ANIMALS - ARTICLE 573
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: That Section 57312 of Chapter 57 of the Redlands
Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows :
Sec. 57312. PENALTY. MISDEMEANOR. Except as otherwise
provided, any person violating any of the provisions of this
article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-
five dollars ($25.00) and not more than five hundred dollars
($500 .00) or by imprisonment for a period of not more than
six (6) months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION TWO : That Section 57313 is hereby added to Chapter 57
of the Redlands Ordinance Code and shall read as follows :
Sec. 57313 . PENALTY. INFRACTION. Any person violating
any of the following provisions of this article shall be guilty
of an infraction and upon a first conviction thereof, shall be
punished by a fine not exceeding twenty-five dollars ($25.00)
and upon a second conviction within a period of one year, by a
fine not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00) and for a third or
any subsequent conviction within a period of one year, by a
fine not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200.00) .
SECTION THREE: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a daily newspaper hereby desi hated for that purpose.
