HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1727_CCv0001.pdf go ORDINANCE NO. 1727 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE - WELFARE - ANIMALS - ARTICLE 573 AND ORDINANCE NO. 1585 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: That Section 57304 of Chapter 57 of the Redlands Ordinance Code and Ordinance No. 1585 be hereby amended to read: § 57304 . DISPOSAL OF SMALL ANIMALS ON REQUEST OF OWNER. An owner or possessor of a small animal may request the arrangement for disposal of such animal. Under this section, such animal must be delivered by the owner or possessor to a place and at a time designated by the Chief of Police or his representative, and must not require apprehension. The person delivering the animal for disposal shall post a disposal fee of fifteen dollars ($15. 00) for live animals or five dollars ($5 . 00) for dead animals. SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this city.
