HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_2596_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 2596 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 6.05 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO VICIOUS AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS DOGS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 6.05.080 of the Redlands Municipal Code relating to appeals of the City's Animal Control Board's decisions are hereby amended to read as follows: "6.05.080 Appeal. If any party contests the detennination, that party may, within five (5) days of the receipt of the Notice of Determination, appeal the Animal Control Board's decision to the Superior Court of the County of San Bernardino. The person appealing the decision shall serve personally or by first-class mail, postage pre-paid, notice of the appeal upon the other party. The appeal shall be conducted pursuant to California Food and Agricultural Code section 31622, 31623 and 31624." Section 2. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter this ordinance shall take effect in accordance with law.
