AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTE
THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO R 6.05 OF
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS DOGS ICIOUS AND
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows:

--� on 1. Section 6.05.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code, entitled
"Potentially Dangerous Dog Defined," is hereby amended to read as follows,
"6.05.010 Potentially Dangerous Dog detined:
`Potentially Dangerous Dog' means any of the fallowing:
A. Any dog which, when unprovoked, on two (2) separate occasions within the
Prior thirty six (36) month period, engages in any behavior that requires a
defensive action by any person to prevent bodily injury when the person and
the dog are off the property of the owner or keeper of the dog.
B. Any dog which, when unprovoked, bites a person causing a less severe
injury than as defined in section 6.05.030 of this chapter.
C. Any dog which, when unprovoked, on two (2) separate occasions within
prior thirty six (36) month period, has seriously bitten, inflicted injury, the
otherwise caused injury attacking a domestic animal off the property of the
owner or keeper of the dog.
D. Any dog aft the property of the owner or keeper of the dog, when
unprovoked, has killed a domestic animal."
SECTION 2. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall c
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published
the
Redlands Daly Facts, a newspaper of general circulation with ,citify to the
